Responsibilities of the Finance Division include budget preparation, accounting, auditing, purchasing and revenue collection. The Finance Division's general objective is to manage the City's financial program so that all transactions are accomplished in the most timely and efficient manner and in accordance with the adopted local budget and other local, state, and federal laws and regulations and to practice sound financial management practices to ensure the most productive use of the citizens' dollars.
